Job Description
This full-time Special Education teacher position is based in Marlborough, MA, serving elementary students within an ASD Pathways program. The role offers a structured schedule Monday through Friday from 8:15 AM to 3:30 PM, including a 30-minute lunch break and a 40-minute daily prep period. The caseload involves working closely with a group of students requiring specialized educational support.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid SPED Massachusetts teaching license is required
- Experience working with elementary-aged children in special education settings
- Ability to manage and support a diverse caseload in an ASD program
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with staff and families
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized instruction and support aligned with the students IEPs
- Implement strategies tailored to meet the needs of learners within the ASD pathways program
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching practices accordingly
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to foster inclusive learning environments
- Maintain accurate records and participate in team meetings as required
