Job Description

An opportunity is available for a dedicated Special Education teacher to support an elementary school in Marlborough, MA. This full-time, contract position provides a rewarding environment to work with diverse learners in an ASD Pathways program. The role offers a structured schedule and a manageable caseload within a supportive educational setting.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Massachusetts Special Education (SPED) teaching license required
  • Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred
  • Familiarity with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) programs and strategies is a plus
  • Ability to manage a caseload of students requiring special education services effectively

Location:

  • Elementary school setting in Marlborough, MA

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized instruction aligned with students IEP goals within the ASD Pathways program
  • Provide accommodations and modifications based on each students learning needs
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress tracking for approximately 30+ students on the caseload
  • Utilize daily 40-minute prep periods and 30-minute lunch breaks efficiently to plan and rejuvenate
  • Work Monday through Friday, from 8:15 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
