Job Description
A part-time Special Education Teacher with a Math endorsement is sought for a contract role in Framingham, MA, serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade. This position offers the opportunity to work two days per week, providing specialized instruction tailored to individual student needs within a supportive school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver math instruction designed for students with special education needs across K-12 grade levels.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Utilize a variety of instructional strategies and resources to accommodate diverse learning styles.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching methods accordingly.
- Maintain clear communication with parents, staff, and administration to support student growth.
Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts Special Education teaching license with a Math endorsement.
- Experience working with K-12 students in a special education setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of special education laws, instructional techniques, and accommodations.
- Effective communication and organizational skills.
