This opportunity is for a Special Education Teacher to work full-time (37.5 hours per week) at a single school location serving high school students in grades 11 and 12. The contract position is based in Lowell, MA and will span the current school year (CSY).
The role requires expertise in special education and a valid Massachusetts teaching certification. The selected candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering individualized instructional plans that meet state standards and accommodate diverse learning needs within a science curriculum, specifically chemistry. Collaboration with support staff will enhance student outcomes, and candidates should be prepared to engage with the schools supervision team, which may include paraprofessionals or medical staff.
