Make a meaningful impact as a contract Special Education Teacher within a supportive elementary setting near Los Alamos, NM. This onsite, full-time opportunity offers the chance to work in both pull-out and inclusion environments where youll help students achieve academic and behavioral growth.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Special Education required
• Active New Mexico Special Education Teacher certification
• Authorization to work in the United States
• Successful completion of background check and drug screening

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver individualized instruction tailored to students IEP goals
• Foster a structured, positive classroom atmosphere supportive of both behavioral and academic milestones
• Utilize evidence-based teaching methods and behavior management techniques
• Work closely with general education teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families to ensure each students needs are met
• Consistently monitor student progress and keep clear, accurate documentation in line with state and federal requirements
• Take part in IEP meetings, student evaluations, and progress reporting
