Make an immediate impact supporting preschool students as a Special Education Teacher for a full-time, onsite contract role near Longmont, CO. This position is designed for a passionate educator ready to step into a leading classroom role at the elementary level and provide vital early childhood special education services. The assignment runs from August 20 to October 30, covering a leave of absence.

Key Qualifications:

• Current CDE ECSE (Early Childhood Special Educator) license required
• Previous classroom or early childhood special education teaching experience highly preferred
• Confidence managing dual preschool sessions with up to 18 students per class
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with paraprofessionals, OTs, and SLPs
• Ability to serve as case manager for up to 10 students receiving ECSE services

Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead both morning and afternoon preschool class sessions as the primary instructor
• Provide specialized instruction and tailored support for students requiring early childhood special education
• Serve as the direct service provider and case manager for a maximum of 10 students
• Collaborate with two paraprofessionals, occupational therapy, and speech-language providers within the classroom setting
• Track progress, maintain student records, and participate in parent meetings as needed
