Key Qualifications:

• Valid Mississippi Special Education (SPED) License required
• Previous experience teaching in Special Day Classes or related settings preferred
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with school personnel and adapt instruction for diverse learning needs
• Strong communication and classroom management skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction to students in Special Day Classes within a single assigned school
• Develop, implement, and adapt Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Foster an inclusive, supportive learning environment for K-12 students
• Collaborate with general education teachers, families, and support staff to support student progress
• Maintain accurate records and monitor student achievements per district and state guidelines
