Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching credential
• Proven experience working with students in grades Pre-K through 12th grade
• Strong background in delivering instruction in Math and foundational subjects
• Ability to develop and implement IEPs, track progress, and modify strategies as needed
• Excellent communication skills to engage with students, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Experience with behavior management, differentiated instruction, and inclusive classroom strategies
• Adaptability and a commitment to fostering a positive, supportive learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute individualized lesson plans in collaboration with general education teachers
• Deliver targeted instruction for students with varying learning exceptionalities
• Monitor student progress and maintain detailed documentation
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development
• Create a welcoming, safe, and encouraging classroom atmosphere
