Key Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education teaching credential
- Experience or passion for working with diverse learners and individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Ability to develop and implement effective instructional strategies for students with varying needs
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with staff, students, and families
- Flexible, creative, and dedicated to fostering a positive learning environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction and adapt curriculum to meet students IEP goals across assigned grade levels (K12)
- Monitor student progress and maintain up-to-date, accurate records in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families for student success
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, student assessments, and professional development opportunities
- Foster a safe, supportive, and energizing classroom space for learning and growth
