Qualifications:
- CDE Special Education (SPED) License with Generalist Endorsement (must have applied and be able to provide proof if license is not yet issued)
- License must specify: Professional Teacher License and Endorsed in Special Education Generalist (5-21)
- Cannot accept substitute, temporary, or interim licenses unless SPED license is approved and paperwork is provided
- Must be available full time and work onsite (not open to VOCO or hybrid arrangements)
- Strong experience with Specially Designed Instruction, instructional strategies, and supporting students on alternative standards
- Extensive knowledge of the IEP process and commitment to professional collaboration
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized instruction to students with diverse learning needs
- Develop, review, and implement IEPs in accordance with state and federal guidelines
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support every students success
- Utilize evidence-based teaching strategies and modify curriculum as needed
- Monitor progress and maintain thorough records of student achievement
