Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students by providing essential support as a Special Education Teacher in a welcoming school environment near Littleton, CO. This contract role offers an opportunity to work full time, 37.5 hours per week, throughout the 202627 school year (August to June). With three available positionsserving high school, elementary school, or an elementary school ASD centeryoull collaborate with dedicated educators, supporting students in a K12 setting as a special education generalist.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Special Education Teacher certification for Colorado
- Current CDE Certification
- Experience working with K-12 students in special education preferred
- Strong communication skills, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive classroom and supporting individual learning needs
Responsibilities:
- Provide special education support and instruction in K12 settings
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to promote student achievement
- Track student progress and record data to guide instruction
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
- Maintain open and proactive communication with parents and guardians
