This opportunity seeks experienced Special Education Teachers to support students within a dedicated SPED classroom setting. Located onsite in Littleton, CO, this full-time contract position requires professional skills in delivering direct services aligned with student Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), updating and developing IEPs on schedule, and managing case responsibilities efficiently. Candidates should be adept at stepping into cases mid-year, ensuring continuity and support for student learning and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction and support to students in SPED classrooms following their IEPs
- Develop, review, and update IEPs as scheduled in compliance with educational standards
- Manage case responsibilities, including documentation and coordination with relevant parties
- Collaborate with school staff to address individual student needs and foster an inclusive learning environment
Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education Certification for Colorado
- SSP (Structured Speech Pathologist) Certification required
- Experience working in special education settings with the capability to transition into mid-year cases successfully
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively
Location: Onsite in Littleton, Colorado
Schedule: Full-time, 35 hours per week
