This contract opportunity located near Lincoln, CA offers the ability to work with students ranging from Pre-K through 12th grade, including those in Early Childhood, Kindergarten, Middle School, and High School settings. Youll have the chance to tailor your instructional approach to a wide spectrum of abilities and developmental levels, with a particular emphasis on supporting students in math.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid teaching certification in Special Education
- Experience working with a range of grade levels: Pre-K, K5, 68, 912
- Proficiency in adapting math curriculum for diverse learners
- Knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and assessment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment
Role Responsibilities:
- Design and implement individualized educational plans to meet varied student needs
- Deliver engaging math instruction and interventions for students with diverse learning profiles
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to coordinate effective student support
- Monitor student progress, adjusting strategies to promote academic and personal growth
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation and reports in alignment with state and federal guidelines
- Contribute to a positive school culture, supporting students social-emotional development
