Job Description

Step into a rewarding role supporting elementary students as a Special Education Teacher specializing in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) for the 20262027 school year. This contract position offers the chance to work alongside a dedicated team in an elementary setting, providing creative and effective support for students K12. Your expertise in special education will help foster student success through customized programming and hands-on communication strategies.

Key Qualifications:

  • Hold an active Missouri Special Education teaching credential
  • Experience with ASD programming is preferred
  • Must complete required fingerprinting prior to start
  • Comfortable adapting to a dynamic caseload from kindergarten through twelfth grade

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and carry out Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to the needs of students with ASD
  • Utilize data collection to inform and adjust instructional strategies for optimal student progress
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation related to student programming
  • Implement and support the use of assistive technology and communication devices within the classroom
  • Engage in indirect and administrative duties as part of regular paid hours

This role provides consistent, full-time hours (37.5 a week, Monday through Friday) from August 24, 2026, to May 21, 2027, all within a collaborative elementary school environment. Paid indirect and administrative time is integrated into your schedule, supporting a balanced workload. Travel professionals are encouraged to apply, and initial interviews are conveniently conducted via Zoom.

Candidates will receive weekly pay starting at $50 and access to a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision insurance, and a 401(k) with employer match.
