Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Missouri Special Education Teacher license required
• Candidates with full licensure in another state and pending Missouri certification will be considered
• Experience in elementary, middle, or high school special education settings is highly valued
• Flexibility to work with either essential skills/low-functioning elementary caseloads or resource co-teaching for older students
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with students, staff, and families
• Must be available for on-site work; virtual positions are not available

Responsibilities:

• Create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students in accordance with legal and district guidelines
• Differentiate instruction to address varied learning abilities and needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents
• Maintain documentation and progress reports in compliance with policies
