Qualifications & Experience:

• Current South Carolina Special Education teaching license

• Skilled in developing and implementing IEPs
• Preferred: Background in behavior management and intervention

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction in accordance with each students IEP
• Collaborate with general education teachers, aides, and support staff
• Employ evidence-based strategies to support academic and social-emotional development
• Maintain accurate records of progress and compliance documentation
• Create a safe, respectful, and encouraging classroom environment
• Communicate regularly with families and education teams
• Adapt instructional methods to meet diverse student needs
