School hours vary by grade level, offering a set schedule during weekdays and a manageable caseload with a supportive atmosphere.
Your qualifications should include:
- Valid SPED License
- Current teaching certificate with Learning Disabilities or Multi-categorical Special Education endorsement
- Experience working with students in special education settings (resource or self-contained preferred)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to cultivate positive, inclusive classroom environments
- Commitment to professional growth and following school protocols
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering targeted instruction and interventions for students with learning and/or emotional disabilities
- Managing IEPs and collaborating closely with families and support staff
- Implementing individualized education plans with accuracy and care
- Maintaining organized records and progress reports
- Participating in school meetings, professional development, and collaborative planning
- Upholding all required onboarding and compliance requirements, including background checks/fingerprinting
