This contract position runs from September to December 2026, with a steady weekly schedule of 37.5 hours. Youll serve as a long-term Special Education Learning Support Substitute Teacher, providing essential academic and social-emotional support to students in a single school setting.

Your day will be structured around the schools 7:45 AM to 3:15 PM hours, where youll balance teaching dedicated classes and engaging in co-teaching with fellow educators throughout the remainder of your schedule. This role offers the satisfaction of guiding and inspiring students while collaborating with a supportive faculty.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid PA certification in Special Education (N-12 or 7-12 required)
• Additional PA certification in High School Algebra and/or Science is a strong advantage
• Experience working with special education students, preferably in a learning support capacity
• Ability to adapt instruction to meet diverse learning styles and needs
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Passion for fostering an inclusive, engaging classroom environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver targeted instruction to students both individually and in groups
• Co-teach with general education teachers to support differentiated learning
