Job Description

An exciting opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher to work with 2nd and 3rd grade students in Leominster, Massachusetts. This contract position offers the chance to provide individualized instruction and targeted support to a caseload of 1215 students, helping foster both academic achievement and social growth in a structured school setting.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Massachusetts Special Education Teaching license for grades 23
  • Experience working with elementary students, particularly in 2nd and 3rd grade
  • Ability to manage and support a caseload of 1215 students with diverse learning needs
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills when working with staff and families

Position Details:

  • Location: Leominster, MA
  • Schedule: 32.5 hours per week, 5 days per week
  • Student Population: 2nd and 3rd grade
  • Caseload: 1215 students

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student
  • Provide specialized instruction and interventions to support academic, social, and emotional development
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student success
  • Monitor progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed
  • Maintain accurate and compliant documentation in line with state and district requirements

Compensation for this position ranges from $24.00 to $47.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
