Key Qualifications:
- Massachusetts teaching certification required
- Experience as a Special Education Teacher, especially within school settings
- Strong background in Science, ideally with experience in Chemistry instruction
- Ability to develop personalized learning plans for students with varying needs
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
Role Highlights & Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging Chemistry lessons tailored to special education students in 11th and 12th grades
- Develop and adapt curriculum to accommodate individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with other educators and support staff, participating in team meetings
- Monitor student progress, maintain records, and provide feedback to parents and administrators
- Foster a supportive, inclusive, and productive classroom environment
- Manage a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week with a consistent assignment at one school
