What youll need to bring:

• Current and valid Missouri Special Education teaching license (or eligibility for licensure if fully certified in another state; pending Missouri licensure may be considered)
• Experience working with diverse student populations and ability levels
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with parents, colleagues, and school administration
• Dedication to fostering inclusive and supportive learning environments
• Flexibility and adaptability within a dynamic school setting

Your role will include:

• Supporting the academic and social growth of students with exceptionalities across elementary, middle, or high school resource rooms and/or self-contained settings
• Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborating with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, therapists, and families to ensure student success
• Utilizing researched-based instructional strategies and behavioral supports
• Maintaining required documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
