Elementary assignments focus on self-contained classrooms for students with essential skills needs, while middle and high school positions involve resource co-teaching models. Additional caseload specifics can be provided upon request.
Qualifications:
- Current, valid Special Education Teacher licensure in Missouri is required.
- Candidates with full licensure in another state may be considered if Missouri licensure is pending.
- Demonstrated experience supporting students in either essential skills/self-contained settings or co-teaching/resource roles.
- Commitment to on-site teaching; virtual work not available.
- Strong collaborative spirit and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction aligned with IEP goals and best practices in special education.
- Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff in a resource co-teaching environment for secondary assignments.
- Develop, implement, and track individualized education plans.
