Essential Qualifications:

• Valid Texas Special Education Teacher license for K-5
• Background working with students with autism and other disabilities highly preferred
• Prior experience in case management, IEP writing, data collection, and lesson delivery
• Strong leadership skills to supervise and provide direction to paraprofessionals

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized instruction and adapt lessons to meet the unique needs of each student in your class
• Manage a caseload of students, ensuring all documentation and compliance processes are maintained
• Write and review Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), monitor progress, and communicate updates with families and staff
• Collect and analyze student performance data to inform and adjust teaching strategies
• Work collaboratively with school staff and supervise 3-4 paraprofessionals, fostering a supportive classroom environment
• Implement alternative curriculum strategies and instructional modifications
• Promote a culture of inclusivity, respect, and high expectations for all students
