Position Details:

  • Full-time assignments at a single, supportive location
    • Middle School Teacher for students with emotional disabilities
    • Middle School Teacher for students with functional/life skills needs
    • Elementary Teacher for students with emotional disabilities
  • Contract runs ASAP through late May 2027
  • Onsite schedule, 37.5 hours per week

Qualifications:

  • Active Kansas SPED Certification required
  • Experience supporting students with emotional disabilities and/or functional/life skills needs preferred
  • Passion for fostering inclusive, empowering learning environments

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized instruction to support specialized learning needs
  • Collaborate with educational teams, families, and related service providers
  • Develop, adapt, and implement IEPs and student behavior plans
  • Foster a positive, supportive classroom culture
