Qualifications:

  • Valid Special Education teaching certification (or eligibility for certification)
  • Bachelors degree in Special Education or related field (Masters preferred)

  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate with general education staff, administrators, and parents

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Deliver engaging lessons tailored to students unique strengths and needs
  • Assess student progress and adjust instructional techniques accordingly
  • Provide a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment
