Key Qualifications:
- Active Maryland Special Education Teaching License
- Experience or dedication to working with high school-aged students preferred
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with students, parents, and staff
- Commitment to fostering a supportive and adaptive classroom atmosphere
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction, intervention, and support tailored to diverse learning styles and needs
- Manage a caseload of students with special education requirements, ensuring compliance with IEP goals
- Create, implement, and monitor individualized education plans in partnership with multidisciplinary teams
- Track student progress and maintain detailed documentation for each student on your caseload
- Effectively communicate with guardians, colleagues, and school leadership regarding student development and progress
