Key Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or a related field
• Valid state certification to teach Special Education
• Experience developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to adapt instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs
• Experience collaborating with families, support staff, and other teachers

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs for assigned students
• Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction to meet individual goals
• Assess and document student progress regularly
• Work closely with general education teachers, therapists, and school staff to ensure a cohesive learning experience
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
