Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid South Carolina Special Education Teacher License (Multi-categorical or required certifications)
• Experience in special education settings including co-teaching, resource rooms, and self-contained classrooms
• Flexibility to work with varying age groupselementary, middle, or high school
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
• Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet a range of student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver instruction in either moderate special education classrooms, self-contained, or co-taught resource rooms as assigned
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students strengths and needs
• Foster a supportive and engaging classroom environment
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff
• Participate in IEP and staff meetings, professional development sessions, and other school activities
• Maintain compliance with state and district reporting requirements
