Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Education is required.
• Active New York State teaching certificate in Special Education.
• Special Education certification suitable for 2nd grade or all grades.
• Proven experience or training in working 1:1 with elementary students.
• Familiarity with state and district-specific regulations and protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction and support to a 2nd grade student with special needs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and caregivers to develop effective strategies and IEP goals.
