Job Description

This full-time contract position seeks dedicated Special Education Teachers for elementary, middle, and high school age groups. You'll have the opportunity to provide individualized support to a manageable caseload of eight students, fostering both academic and personal growth.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of experience working in special education and possess an active Minnesota teaching license. You'll collaborate closely with school staff and families to create inclusive learning environments and help each student reach their fullest potential.

Qualifications:

  • Current, valid Special Education teaching license in Minnesota
  • Minimum of 1 years experience as a Special Education Teacher
  • Expertise working with students at the elementary, middle, or high school level
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Passion for advocating for students unique needs

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for assigned students
  • Provide direct instruction in both group and one-on-one settings
  • Track and report student progress according to IEP goals
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families
  • Foster an inclusive, supportive, and safe learning environment
  • Participate in ongoing professional development
