Multiple Special Education teaching positions are open across several campuses, each with unique caseloads and focus areas, including autism, early childhood special education, developmental cognitive disabilities, and homebound instruction. Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid Minnesota teaching license in Special Education required
  • Experience with autism, developmental cognitive disabilities, early childhood special education (ECSE), or homebound instruction is highly preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Adaptability and experience in various federal educational settings
  • Ability to manage individualized caseloads and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students according to their specific needs
  • Provide direct instruction, modifications, and accommodations in classroom or homebound settings
  • Conduct assessments to evaluate and monitor student progress
  • Collaborate with other educators, therapists, and families to ensure holistic support
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation as required by district and special education regulations
  • Cultivate an inclusive and encouraging learning environment
