Job Description

Candidates will serve on-site, delivering impactful instruction and individualized support to students with diverse learning needs. With caseloads ranging from 4 to 19 students, youll collaborate with committed colleagues and contribute significantly to student growth and development.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid Minnesota teaching license required (special education endorsement appropriate to role)
  • Demonstrated experience with students with autism, cognitive disabilities, or early childhood special education preferred
  • Flexibility to work independently and adapt to different teaching settings
  • Skilled in developing and implementing IEPs
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and deliver engaging, individualized lesson plans
  • Manage caseloads as outlined (including autism, DCD, ECSE, and homebound learners)
  • Collaborate with general educators, families, and support staff to foster inclusion
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with special education regulations
  • Monitor student progress, conduct assessments, and adjust instruction as needed
