A rewarding opportunity is available for an Elementary Science Teacher specializing in special education, with ESL teaching skills considered a plus. This onsite position is based in Lakeville, MN, focused on providing quality education to elementary students. The role involves a contract position with a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective science instruction tailored to elementary students' learning levels.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special education needs.
- Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to create an inclusive learning environment.
- Utilize ESL teaching strategies to support students with limited English proficiency, enhancing their understanding of science concepts.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instructional methods accordingly.
Qualifications:
- Possession of Minnesota General Education Science Endorsements.
- Experience in special education teaching within elementary settings.
