Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education.
• Experience working with students in multiple grade groups, from Pre-K to 12th grade.
• Strong ability to differentiate instruction and adapt curriculum to individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Skills in teaching core content areas, particularly math, to students with varying learning needs.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Commitment to inclusive education and a supportive classroom environment.
• Previous work in a school setting is preferred.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Develop, implement, and assess individualized educational programs for students with special needs.
• Instruct and support students in academic, emotional, and behavioral areas.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, other specialists, and families to ensure coordinated support.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom climate.
• Conduct progress monitoring and assessments to adjust instruction as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and provide regular updates on student development.
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development sessions.
