Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or a related field
- Valid state Special Education teaching certification

- Previous experience in a school environment or working with students requiring specialized support is highly valued
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver differentiated instruction tailored to the needs of each student
- Assess students abilities, progress, and needs, maintaining accurate records for documentation and reporting purposes
- Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and school staff to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment
- Engage with parents and guardians to foster positive and ongoing communication regarding student progress and challenges
- Adapt curriculum and instructional techniques to best support students with a variety of learning disabilities or behavioral needs
- Participate in staff meetings, IEP meetings, professional development, and relevant trainings as required
