This contract position offers the opportunity to work directly with Kindergarten through 5th grade students, helping them grow and reach their academic potential in an inclusive, nurturing environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Special Education (SPED) license in Wisconsin
- Prior experience in a professional school setting
- Dedication to fostering engagement, curiosity, and social development in young learners
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with teaching teams and families
Your Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and small group instruction based on IEP goals for elementary students
- Develop and implement lesson plans, accommodations, and modifications for diverse learning needs
- Monitor student progress and document outcomes accurately
- Collaborate closely with general education teachers, specialists, and support staff
- Communicate consistently with families, providing updates and support to help every child thrive
Position Details:
- Onsite, with full workdays of seven hours, including a daily half-hour unpaid lunch
- Manage a caseload of K-5 elementary students, supporting their unique academic and behavioral goals
