Desired Qualifications:
- Hold a valid Educational Interpreter License issued by the Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC)
- Achieved an EIPA score of 3.5 or higher
- Experience supporting K-12 students, particularly those in general and special education settings
- Strong knowledge of sign language interpreting in educational contexts
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide real-time sign language interpretation for classroom lessons, school events, meetings, and extracurricular activities
- Support students across diverse content areas and grade levels, enriching their academic experience
- Collaborate with educators and special education teams to address individual student needs
