Desired Qualifications:

  • Effective communication skills with students, families, and colleagues

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Provide specialized instruction to students with a variety of learning needs
  • Collaborate with general education teachers and related service staff to ensure inclusive practices
  • Track student progress and maintain accurate records
  • Engage regularly with parents/guardians to share updates and foster partnerships
  • Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations related to special education
  • Attend staff meetings, IEP meetings, and professional development sessions as needed
