Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students growth and success in special education. In this full-time role at a resource-setting classroom, youll collaborate with a dedicated team of case managers, paraprofessionals, and behavior analysts to foster an inclusive and supportive environment for elementary students.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver differentiated instruction to students in grades 14, primarily within resource settings, with occasional push-in support as needed
  • Collaborate with two fellow case managers to split a manageable caseload of 1520 students each
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Partner with classroom teachers, 1:1 paraprofessionals, and behavior analysts to create tailored academic and behavioral interventions
  • Monitor, assess, and document student progress, communicating effectively with families and educational teams
  • Participate actively in pre- and post-planning sessions, contributing insights to support student success

Desired Experience and Skills:

  • Current New Hampshire Educator Teaching Certification
  • Proven experience teaching special education, specifically with elementary students in grades 1st4th
  • Thorough understanding of IEP processes, documentation, and compliance requirements
  • Strong team mindset with positive collaboration skills
  • Effective communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
  • Adept at managing diverse learning needs and behavioral challenges in an inclusive setting
