Qualifications:

  • Valid Special Education Teacher certification (state-specific or eligible for reciprocity in NH)
  • Experience with Life Skills or similar self-contained classrooms preferred
  • Demonstrable adaptability and enthusiasm for travel assignments
  • Compassionate approach to empowering students with diverse needs
  • Excellent communication and collaborative skills

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, individualized instruction to Life Skills students (grades 68 or 912, based on preference)
  • Develop and implement IEPs in partnership with multidisciplinary teams
  • Foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment
  • Track and report on student progress and maintain organized documentation
  • Engage positively with families, staff, and support personnel
