Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Current teaching certification with Special Education endorsement
• Experience providing instruction to students from Early Childhood through Grade 12
• Expertise in delivering differentiated instruction, including math, to students with diverse learning needs
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with classroom teachers, support staff, and families
• Flexibility to adapt to multiple grade levels, including Kindergarten, Elementary, Middle, and High School settings
• Commitment to fostering a nurturing and inclusive learning atmosphere

Core Responsibilities:

• Design and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to students strengths and needs
• Use evidence-based strategies to teach academic content, including math, in both one-on-one and group settings
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional approaches to ensure growth
• Maintain accurate documentation of student achievement, attendance, and communication
• Serve as an advocate for students with special needs, partnering closely with parents and multidisciplinary teams
• Promote positive behavior support and social-emotional learning in the classroom
• Participate in school-based meetings, professional development, and IEP conferences
