An excellent opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher to support K-12 students in a contract position within a school located in Kenner, LA. This role requires working full-time throughout the current school year, providing vital educational support to students with special needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instructional services tailored for students in grades K-12 with individualized education plans.
• Collaborate with school staff and families to implement effective educational strategies and accommodate students unique learning needs.
• Monitor student progress and maintain thorough documentation in compliance with Louisiana standards.
• Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment promoting student engagement and success.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Active Louisiana Department of Education Certification for Special Education Teacher.
• Experience teaching special education students across the K-12 spectrum.
• Ability to pass all district-mandated background checks, including drug screening and fingerprinting.
• Strong communication skills and collaborative approach with colleagues and families.
• Candidates must be fully certified and ready to start immediatelyno pending licensure applications.

Work Details:

• Location: Kenner, Louisiana.
• Schedule: Full-time, 35 hours per week; Monday through Friday per the school calendar.

• Caseload and number of schools assigned to be determined based on placement.
