Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current and valid New Hampshire Special Education Teacher certification
- Experience teaching special education at the K5, 68, and/or 912 levels
- Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and assessment
- Ability to collaborate with general education teachers, aides, and school support teams
- Excellent communication and organization skills
- Dedicated to fostering a positive, accommodating classroom environment
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction, support, and accommodations to students with varying disabilities
- Develop and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Use data-driven strategies to assess student performance and modify instruction as needed
- Communicate regularly with families, caregivers, and team members regarding student progress
- Implement behavioral interventions, classroom management plans, and social-emotional support
- Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and compliance with state and federal requirements
