Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current and valid New Hampshire Special Education Teacher certification
• Experience teaching special education at the K5, 68, and/or 912 levels
• Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and assessment
• Ability to collaborate with general education teachers, aides, and school support teams
• Excellent communication and organization skills
• Dedicated to fostering a positive, accommodating classroom environment

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction, support, and accommodations to students with varying disabilities
• Develop and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Use data-driven strategies to assess student performance and modify instruction as needed
• Communicate regularly with families, caregivers, and team members regarding student progress
• Implement behavioral interventions, classroom management plans, and social-emotional support
• Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and compliance with state and federal requirements
