Take on an impactful role supporting students as a Special Education Teacher at various schools in the Kansas City, KS area. This full-time, onsite contract position runs from August 2026 to May 2027 and focuses on providing specialized education services across multiple settings, including private parochial schools and additional campuses.

In this itinerant role, you will have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of diverse learners, collaborating closely with educators and families to design and implement effective individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students needs.

Qualifications:

• Active Kansas (KS) K-12 Special Education (SPED) teaching license required
• Experience with itinerant special education roles is a plus
• Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills
• Strong ability to adapt to multiple school environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored instruction and support to students with disabilities across various schools and campuses
• Develop, implement, and monitor student IEPs in compliance with educational standards and regulations
• Collaborate with general education staff, administrators, and families to support student growth
• Maintain all required documentation accurately and in a timely manner
• Participate in meetings, professional development activities, and team collaborations as needed
