Job Description

Contract opportunities are now available near Kansas City, KS from August 2026 through May 21, 2027, focusing exclusively on Life Skills, Autism, or Behavior (including Severe Behaviors) classrooms. With 21 open positions available across K-12 settingsincluding elementary, middle, high school, and an alternative program (Bridges)theres a placement suited for passionate educators at every level.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid and active Kansas teaching license for the appropriate grade/subject is required before placement
  • Experience or strong interest in working within Life Skills, Autism, or Behavior-focused environments
  • Commitment to supporting students with diverse learning needs
  • Adaptability and teamwork skills for collaboration with colleagues and families
  • Strong communication and classroom management abilities

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized and group instruction based on students IEPs
  • Adapt curriculum and differentiate lessons to meet unique learning needs
  • Employ data-driven strategies to monitor student progress and adjust support accordingly
  • Collaborate with paraprofessionals, administrators, and related services staff
  • Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment for all learners
