Open positions:

  • Elementary School: 10 teachers
  • Middle School: 5 teachers
  • High School: 4 teachers
  • Bridges/Alternative School (all grades): 2 teachers (severe behaviors focus)

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active Kansas teaching license in Special Education, valid for the specific grade level prior to placement.
  • Experience working with students in life skills, autism spectrum, or behavioral support settings is preferred.
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and adaptability in diverse and dynamic learning environments.
  • Dedication to fostering an inclusive, supportive classroom where all students can succeed.

What youll be doing:

  • Developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each students unique needs.
  • Delivering engaging curriculum in settings focused on life skills, autism, or behavioral support.
  • Collaborating with fellow teachers, administrators, and support staff for holistic student care.
  • Maintaining proactive communication with families to track and support student progress.
  • Creating a safe, respectful environment that develops both the academic and social skills of every student.
