Qualifications:
- Valid state certification in Special Education
- Bachelors degree or higher in Special Education or related field

- Strong communication and collaboration skills for partnering with staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to adapt curriculum and teaching strategies to individual students needs
Responsibilities:
- Develop, deliver, and modify instructional plans based on students individualized educational goals
- Work collaboratively with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff to support student integration and progress
- Assess students abilities, monitor progress, and maintain detailed, compliant records
- Facilitate IEP meetings with families and service providers to ensure team-based support
- Incorporate evidence-based strategies and differentiated instruction to optimize student engagement and success
- Foster a positive, respectful classroom culture and advocate for all students academic and social development
- Remain current on best practices and legal regulations in special education
