This opportunity is for a Special Education Teacher position supporting elementary students with mild to moderate disabilities. The role is based in Junction City, OR, with consideration for candidates in nearby Eugene, Lowell, or Corvallis (approximately 50 minutes away). The contract runs from the current school year through the end of the year, with a possibility for renewal.

Responsibilities include managing a caseload of approximately 32 elementary students. Some will spend the majority of their day in a dedicated special education setting, while others will join general education classes for parts of their day, receiving specialized support as needed. Collaboration with paraprofessionals is integral, as support is readily available within the classroom environment to facilitate student success.

Qualifications and experience desired for this role include:

• Oregon Teaching Certification with endorsement in Special Education
• Experience working with elementary-aged children with mild to moderate disabilities
• Ability to adapt instructional methods to meet individual student needs
