Serving students from Early Childhood through 8th grade, you will collaborate closely with fellow educators to create an inclusive, supportive classroom. Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Professional Educators License (PEL) for Illinois schools issued by ISBE
- Prior experience or strong interest in working with Autism Spectrum Disorder and students with social, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
- Dedication to fostering growth and inclusion for all learners
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and group instruction tailored to student IEPs
- Develop and adapt lesson plans for diverse learning needs
- Implement evidence-based strategies to support student progress
- Collaborate with families, paraprofessionals, and multidisciplinary teams
- Monitor, document, and report student progress regularly
- Create a safe, nurturing, and structured environment for students
