Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid Professional Educators License (PEL) for Illinois schools issued by ISBE
  • Prior experience or strong interest in working with Autism Spectrum Disorder and students with social, emotional, and behavioral needs
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
  • Dedication to fostering growth and inclusion for all learners

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized and group instruction tailored to student IEPs
  • Develop and adapt lesson plans for diverse learning needs
  • Implement evidence-based strategies to support student progress
  • Collaborate with families, paraprofessionals, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Monitor, document, and report student progress regularly
  • Create a safe, nurturing, and structured environment for students
