As a Special Education Teacher on this unique assignment, youll deliver one-on-one instruction to a homebound student three times per week (1.0 hour per session) throughout the 2026-2027 school year. Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification (applicable to RI)
- Experience working with individual students with diverse learning needs
- Ability to collaborate with families and support networks
- Skilled in adapting curriculum and instruction to meet IEP goals
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized instruction 3 times per week, 1 hour per session
- Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to students IEP
- Monitor and document student progress
- Collaborate with family and school-based team members
- Adjust strategies based on student needs and progress
