Qualifications/Preferred Experience:
- Active Georgia SPED License with appropriate endorsements required
- Experience in adaptive and general curriculum special education preferred
- ADAPTIVE SPED CERT for North Jackson Elementary (Autism Level 3 classroom)
- SPED GENERAL CURRICULUM CERT for West Jackson Middle School (ASD Level 1 or Adaptive MI/MO classroom)
- Passion for working with students with complex physical and academic needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide instruction and care in self-contained special education classrooms
- Implement individualized education programs (IEPs) with creativity and compassion
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to support student development
