Key Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education Teaching License in New Hampshire
- Experience working with students in grades K-5, 6-8, and/or 9-12
- Strong understanding of diverse learning needs and IEP development
- Skilled in adapting curriculum to meet a variety of educational abilities
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to fostering an equitable and inclusive learning environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) aligned with student needs
- Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction in small groups and co-taught settings
- Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and ancillary staff to support student learning
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with federal, state, and district requirements
- Communicate progress and strategies regularly with families and caregivers
- Participate in ongoing professional development and team meetings
