Key Qualifications:

  • Active Florida ESE Certification
  • K-6 or PK-3 General Education Certification
  • Previous experience in a self-contained special education classroom
  • Compliance with fingerprinting requirements for Florida school districts (details coordinated upon hire)
  • Ability to complete a virtual prescreen interview and internal eligibility screening

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead a self-contained ESE classroom at the elementary level (specific location assigned)
  • Provide differentiated instruction to students with varying abilities and exceptionalities
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment
