In this position, youll be providing essential in-class resource support for a 1st-grade classroomall within one assigned school for a focused, consistent experience. Youll have a full-time schedule, allowing you to make a meaningful daily impact.

Key Qualifications:

• Hold or be eligible for a New Jersey Special Education license (preferred)
• Previous experience in a special education or resource classroom setting, ideally with early elementary students
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work alongside general education staff and administration
• Ability to differentiate instruction and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive learning environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver targeted instruction to support 1st-grade students within the resource room
• Collaborate with general education teachers to adapt lessons and materials
• Assess student progress and modify interventions as needed
• Participate in IEP meetings and communicate with families about student growth
• Maintain accurate records and documentation per district guidelines
